Shit that annoys you
Hand burns bring back memories…
In college i got second degree burns across most of my right hand from a drunken campfire incident.
Being 21, I just ripped off the burned skin (like taking off a glove) and threw it in the campfire and continued partying….for about 15 minutes until the pain got to me.
Doc just told me to wrap up the burned raw fingers separate so they wouldn’t grow together.
Good times.

In the stocks thread he does.
Years ago I heard if you scrape poison ivy blisters and pour Clorox on them it gets rid of them. A couple times I did tiny little areas, and it hurt, but it worked. Then I got a big patch of it on my shin, so I figured...well, long story short, don't do that. Definitely don't do that.

I wanna pop them so bad.. relieve the pressure and the pain.
Every doc I've seen says don't do it, including the burn specialist I saw this morning.
It's rough, but I'm trying to follow the experts advice.
goddamn I want to pop them. so far so good avoiding it.. trying for the quickest heal time and have no choice but to listen to the burn folks
Batmobile is gone, fuck that thing.
I have no problem drawing on them, but squeezing the hand to make them talk is a no go. any movement feels like I'm being stabbed.
Not sure what's in there, but feels like more liquid that air. Again. Docs want to keep them in tact as long as possible, and the last thing I need right now is a nasty infection

Meh, the docs are just covering their asses. If they said you could pop them and you got gangrene there’d be a huge malpractice suit.
I say go for it! Sterilize that needle and keep everything clean and slathered in antibiotic ointment.

Having people claim spending $300+ on a 60k btu griddle is silly and plopping your $15-80 18 inch griddle on a $1000 40k btu grill is a much better option.

don't pop that shit. My girlfriend from 20 years ago had blisters just like that from a burn. After 3 days she decided to pop them and I of course encouraged her. It was a bad idea. Leave them in tact as long as possible, it will heal faster, be less painful, have less scarring, etc.
