Never seemed to get gasoline all over my hands and the motor every time I used those.
Warm day and sun can make them truly scary. I have seen work-arounds that are even scarier, though crudely effective. I get that they work better, if you use them exactly the way they are designed for and don't use them in the summer.

Not being able to refuel my lawnmower until summer is over annoys me.

Weak ass referees and their ticky tack fouls on youngsters vs the stars. Stars don't need the charity if they are in fact stars.

Saddle making is a very specific art and you can't just throw any saddle on any horse because not only does the saddle have to fit the rider it must also fit the horse both in muscle/skeletal structure but in style of shoulder movement (i.e. gaited horses).

I tried to get a stool with a saddle horn but no luck. That's for holding on to when you're riding, right?

    This:

Eastern Washington lawmakers file bill to split state

WTF? Do this fools really think EWA can support itself? Idiots. We need the tax base provided by the other half of the state. Without it we become Mississippi.

That would be a dally and yes, holding tight to the horn will do you no good when trying to stay on. You want to sit deep, relax your lower back and keep your heels down.

    Dally on the horn:

R U surprised> This kinda shit really pisses me off.

Mario Batali, one of the most famous chefs in the world, was accused of a string of disturbing crimes by a woman who used to work for him — crimes including drugging and sexually assaulting her inside a New York City restaurant, in a third-floor space notoriously known by employees as the “rape room.”

Not surprised. First, the fact that he is a chef puts him in a kitchen which are notoriously bad places for harassment.

About a decade ago I was contracting with Google providing them their food service. Part of my job was to set up author talks with chefs. We had a bunch come through. I was usually their onsite escort, as Google would not allow guests to roam free through campus. I typically brought them through our largest kitchen so that my staff could chat with the person who’s menu they were preparing (we would serve food from their cookbook the day they were there to do a talk). Anyway, Mario was totally checking out and commenting on our female staff. Things like how lucky we are to have so many women in the kitchen soon devolved to “I liked to be trapped in the walk in with her.” In ear shot of the “her.” I had to remind him to keep it to himself, as neither Google nor Bon Appetit (my company) permitted what some (the law) would consider harassing language or actions. And I had to put it in a polite non offensive way, as he was our guests. Super awkward moment, as I really just wanted to tell him to grow up and act like a man and not objectify the hard working women on my team.

Mario Batali always seemed like a neck beard to me, and like people said, kitchens can be horrible for sexual harassment (never actually seen this in the kitchens Ive worked in though - the women were always hispanic and extremely well liked, granted I dont speak spanish so I dont know if I may have heard something but didnt know it.).

My wife worked in the bar/restaurant biz, and Mario has always creeped her out.

We still go to Armandino's deli though.

when you invite someone to an event, and in a clear way explain that someone else isn't invited (without saying so verbatim) and they ask if they can invite that person.
