I'll say it's cheap. I filled up my car with premium at Costco last week and when the pump stopped I looked up and it was $24. I don't think I've been able to fill up the entire tank for that cheap since the 90s.

I'm guessing it is a parking lot space issue.

Highway access. It's Vermont. Local gas magnate is using the environmental courts to delay Costco from opening. Can't handle the increased traffic without additional lanes

Magnates, plural. And I heard that the Maplethorpe (sorry, Maplefield, inside joke, we wish Vallee would fist himself) outlet in front of Costco was occasionally matching the Costco price during their operating hours. That will make the traffic so much worse. Which he can blame on Costco.

There's a lot of Butthurt on this one. Vallee and Jolley were allegedly price fixing, in part brought to light by Bernie Sanders. That's a simplification. Enter the existing Costco that built pumps but couldn't use them for about 3 years. Funny how Bernie and a large corporation were on the same side.

I was going to say, even $18.50 for a pizza would be a pretty reasonable price these days.

even at GBP that's still cheap.

I pay $20 (£15.60) for one of these 16" thin crust pies and think I'm living large:

Holy shit - just checked the GBP<->USD exchange rate. Had NO idea. Thought it was more like £1 ~ $1.75. Dayum.

My wife and I took our kids to some artisanal pizza place in Midtown sac. $110 for the 4 of us, and I don't think we had any alcohol. We never went back. They went out of business.

They didn't go out of business, they just relocated to the Seattle metro area, where they've been ranked the #1 Affordable Pizza Spot in the city for 3 years in a row.

We are having a small gathering this weekend.
Rather than me take grill duty the wife said letís just grab pizza to keep it easy.

Nowadays that can range from $12-$26 a pizza depending on the place.

Iím cool with a couple $26 pizzas for me and her to enjoy with our kids, but Iím not cool buying 6 of them for a bunch of assholes and their kids.

You aren't kidding. The best deals on food around here are found at the airport.

Exactly what a friend of mine complained about when he broke an arm in a smokejumping accident.

I've fractured/shattered my clavicle and done a Grade 2 AC separation on my dominant arm (separate incidents). Tooth brushing was way more awkward than butt wiping. I bought a Sonicare on day two.
