I've driven across the country seven times. I've never driven in some of the southeast states, but have hit most of the other shitshow areas. So in my not an expert opinion, the worst asshole drivers are in the Boston and Chicago surrounding areas. That is all.

You’d love it here, except during peak rush hour on the highway, which thankfully I never have to endure, it’s a gotdamned nascar track where you’ll get your doors blown off doing 80 by a guy in the passing lane.

Select-any/unlimited-gear paddles is nice, but the stock programmed pattern is fer SHiT.

Being able to say "Okay Google" while reading the Times or watching a Video and eating soup is the tits while making a hard turn. Assisted Driving makes it even simpler... not so much in the hard turn department.

Pining for a crash box has lost its luster. What I miss is the Mech E Brake.

This. While I prefer driving a manual and take pleasure in the tactile mechanics of it all, I wouldn’t pay extra for one. Automatics are nice for.... life. Like drinking your morning coffee on the drive in. If they were common, I’d be driving one. They aren’t, so I don’t. It’s isn’t all that high on the list.

At most, I want a stick/manual 10% of the time (tight, windy 2 lanes with no traffic) the vast majority of my driving is far more suited to auto e.g. heavy freeway

Burning up shoes warning... makes me think they don't just lock out. I don't even have a clue how they actuate.

I guess my question is; do they lock up tight immediately? Not like a mechanical where you can throttle the pressure. I guess I'll try it in the wet next chance I get.

Is it just me, or is predictive text progressively becoming less accurate, more pervasive, and exceedingly annoying in general? Whether on my phone, or the internet, or MS Word, or Apple, or typing an email, etc. I find it changing real words, that are spelled correctly, into other words that make absolutely no sense in the context of the sentence.
