Yeah, I read that too. Were you gonna have your kid plagiarize the whole thing for us too Charlotte? Or do you have any thoughts of your own for her to regurgitate on this matter?

At a business dinner tonight I hear a client was at the Beav same time I was for the annual Talons Challenge.

Upon hearing what that was (and that us flatlanders can finish before 2) he told me the event was “irresponsible”.

    Ok, Carl, you fucking drip.

How can a ski rack be too tall for poles? Why not just attach your poles to your skis using the wrist strap like a normal person?

I'm with tang. Yes, you could use the straps but that's mildly annoying too, and when I just lean them against my skis, many times they're on the ground when I return. It's a very mild annoyance, but it does seem like they could have been designed better.

People who take up a separate space in a full ski rack with their poles. I wish all ski racks were too tall for poles. And if your skis are too tall for the rack, so you have to lay them on the snow--go home and come back when you grow up.

Or you could wait until it snows so much it makes the rack shorter.

(Also note the perfect pole positioning in the foreground; you’re welcome)

This annoys me cause I went to Utah this weekend and it just fucking rained instead of snowing the foot that was forecasted.

Also, $290 day tickets are annoying

You should have been here last weekend!

Sorry man, that really sucks. We got 4' in a little over 3 days which made for some truly fantastic skiing. And $290?!? Holy shit that's insane. If anything it's what keeps me getting an Epic Pass each year (ducks).

I’ve been watching Utah go off all year, and early March is usually a slam dunk for either great storm skiing or sunny groomers. Oh well.

Glad you got it last weekend at least!

And yeah, fuck Alterra and Deer Valley. Just like on principal, but also for the day pass prices.

See, Foxy Knoxy was someone who tried to have too much fun during her study abroad and where did that get her?

Every single rando male I ride the chairlift with:

them: "So, what do you do?"

    me: "I ski"

them: "what do you do for work?"

I've just started making shit up at this point. It's more fun to see how they'll judge me in a 9 minute lift ride. Maybe this should be under things that amuse me.

My buddy used to answer the "what do you do" question with "as little as possible."

Ski racks here are always full. But if I lean the skis on a wall, straps go around the ski tips. That's the only thing I use the straps for, don't use them while skiing.

I like that and will use it this afternoon I'm sure. Waiting for the rain to turn to snow as otherwise I melt.
