Ugh. Happened to me with a local business 2 weeks ago. I asked some questions about scheduling, said that I wasn't available all of this week, and they sent a response saying "how about this Thursday". I sent another email restating both my scheduling constraints and the questions I had, and they replied offering another day for scheduling. It's as if I never wrote the questions, let alone writing them twice.

My boss invariably responds "yes" or "do it" to any email. If you have more than 1 question in there it's anyone's guess which one he's actually answered. Not sure it's accomplishing what he wants (cut back on time spent on emails) since I have to follow up on everything 3 times or send 3 separate emails with 1 question in each.

Holy shit, that's annoying when all three questions are best viewed together for context and answered together or in sequence, with conditionals on the previous answer. That's going to drag out an exchange by many hours or days. Of course, seems like net is same. Just annoying either way.
