What sucks is cleanup. The little one gets tossed in the dishwasher after a cursory poke at the cutters. Nothing to take apart.

Cook a few and then throw the rest away. Someone had too many zucchinis and now made it your problem, it's not really a gift at all.

Here in VT we make sure to lock our car and house doors during zucchini season.

Make a whole bunch of ratatouille and freeze it. Then throw it away next year.

Spicy zucchini fritters are a good way to use up some of the excess zukes.

    https://rasamalaysia.com/zucchini-fritters/

    - that recipe doesn't have the 1-2TB of either red or green curry paste that I use to render them "spicy"...

Ahhh... this one is closer: https://www.closetcooking.com/thai-c...fritters-with/

Yup!!! Also, when Sears was still a thing the Craftsman solid rubber hoses were also pretty damn durable. Still rocking the same hoses like a decade later and they've been through hell and back. No leaks or kinks. WORTH the few extra $$$.

Been pretty happy with the Zero G hose I bought this spring. Long term durability remains to be seen, but it never kinks and is so easy to coil and handle.

All at the same time I assume? Brutal. That's no vacation.

Thing is, it was a Craftsman solid rubber (black) that cost $42. It just sucked. Must not be the same thing...

Any "vacation" involving family beyond the nuclear portion is not a vacation. Avoid at all costs.

    True.

Skipped a trip to Seattle recently for a family reunion for the wife’s family. I wound have loved to have done the trip on our own terms.
Plan was to stay in an Airbnb with her brother/sister/mother and their families, NOPE.
I was convinced if we went someone would have ended up in a body bag and I’d end up in jail or rehab.

    I like my family.

Even my wife's family is fine, it's just that they're Oklahomans.

You get 4 or more family members and everything starts revolving around the next meal instead of fun things to do. Soon as you finish breakfast people start talking about lunch, after lunch people start talking about dinner. Nobody can agree on anything else.
