My name has been wrong on my passport for three decades. It was the short version of my first name instead of my full first name. I am trying to correct it now because it always causes an annoyance at the airport when flying internationally. The process is annoyingly tedious. I'm having to fill out all these name change request forms and going back and forth with bureaucratic nonsense and snail mail. Paying extra money too, which is complete bullshit. But as long as I can easily get out of this country a few times in the next year it will be worth it I guess.
