Perhaps, but the debate doesn't matter much with the pathetic dining hours going on over at ATL. I can't tell you how many times I've been screwed out of dinner there when having an evening layover there and everything's either closed, in the process of closing, and if it's not closed (yet), the line's a mile long and the service slow as frozen molasses. ESPECIALLY at the Popeye's there. Last time I tried that, they were pretty much completely out of food by the time I got to order, and gave up.

Annoying because pre-pandemic I don't think was as much of an issue, but ever since, ATL hasn't quite been the same. For being the world's busiest airport, you'd think the restaurants there wouldn't keep bankers hours.

Probably tough staffing things, being that those are generally shit jobs paying jack squat.

Get the single breast regular and the institutional mashed potatoes and gravy. It costs like $6 and is heavenly. I eat it once a year and never regret it.

I ate all-you-can-eat fried chicken at the Slogar in CB one time right before I had a blood test. Let's just say, my LDLs were not within the parameters of what the medical community considers "healthy". Nerds!

It's been a long time but imo there are 2 times that call for Popeyes. 1st is after a long day of drinking in the city and you need some fried chicken to soak up the 7 eleven booze cup you made for the last train home. Also if you are doing shady shit on the south side and you need to score coke/weed and the Popeyes with the bars and bulletproof windows is the likely spot.

Also church's chicken is mo better.

In that ATL concourse there's more sit down options than fast food so I get it. But there's also a Chick Fil A and a great taco spot one short train ride over that I'm getting every time before eating that Popeyes bullshit.

I’ve eaten there once and it was a decent burger, but my go to is chicken and waffles with Luda. Hard to get decent chicken and waffles in Utah.
