Yeah, good luck with that. They’re widening the road in front of my house and leaving trash everywhere. I filled a trash can full of those yellow lane marker bumps they scraped off road while changing the lanes around. They figured tossing them into the ditch was just fine.

    Unecessarilly loud people.

7:30am this morning and can hear the idiots across the lake blabbing with no care in the world that their voices are carrying a half mile.

I came out here to quietly paddle, not to hear you yelling at your buddy across your campsite (remote, they either hiked or paddled to).

It would be nice if people used their indoor voices outdoors. Especially out in nature. Of course these days people's indoor voices are pretty loud.

Guy on a nearby dock blasting music from a boom box at about 120db today. I cued up some Jimmy Rodgers (the guy who introduced yodeling to country music in the 1920's) but his wife made him turn it down before I got to blast Jimmy on the outside speakers.

People that have to take their unfriendly dogs hiking.

Your dog is petrified of other dogs and you freak the fuck out when another dog comes close? Maybe this 3 foot wide trail isn’t the best place for your dog or you.

Your (leashed) dog lunges for my dog’s throat and your response is “sometimes he’s not friendly”. WTF is wrong with you?

I have an unfriendly dog I used to take hiking. He would never approach or lunge at your dog and he was always on leash, but he WOULD snap at your unleashed dog when it stuck its nose up his ass. Too many assholes who refused to leash their dogs.

    Oh well….
    focus.

Couldn’t find it on the googles.

But there’s an old story of Neil young setting up two Marshall stacks on his lake. Stereo. One in barn and one in cottage. Cranking music out to his canoe. “It needs more barn” was the quote I remember

    Do you recommend the white?

What's in is what fits my feet. If it's Dad shoes, then so be it. I prefer the white ones.

I ordered one pair until I can see how they really fit. Then I'll probably order two more since I don't trust any of the manufacturers to keep producing what I need. I used to order 2 pairs at a time when NB had what I needed and was not changing them frequently.

Too bad they don't make them in red, but maybe they would be too fast for dads to wear safely.

Centre lock and 6-bolt rotors. Just pick one, industry. I’m doing a bunch of wheel swaps, selling wheels, setting up spare sets etc. I’m having to buy quite a few rotors to make it all work. I’d have what I need if they were standardized. FFS, this annoys me.

I think 99% of everyone would be perfectly happy with 6-bolt except some XC weight weenie dentists that want to shave 40 grams off a wheel.
