When FedEx decides to ping pong your package back and forth all over the country. WTF? Was supposed to be here days ago. Today's progress was a town about 5 miles from the one it made it to yesterday. Haha. This is the music playing in my head as I watch the tracking progress:

FedEx sucks. I don’t have direct knowledge of their current situation, but in the past 5-10+ years UPS was investing really heavily in automation. FedEx was happy to just keep using manual labor to avoid the big upfront costs and keep short term profits looking good. I think it’s caught up with them.

Riding BART into SF at rush hour, and a guy is talking about the “ergonomics guy” at his office.
“Oh, your company doesn’t have an ergonomics guy?!?”
The horror.

Shit that annoys you
If they haven’t been popped six or seven times for dealing drugs out the back door, do they even have enough kitchen experience?

This +1000
My daughter works in that area, and yup - that's generally what she's seen.
(Not that they're bad people - some are, some aren't; She likes quite a few of them quite a lot, and others, no so much. But their lives aren't very stable and many of their life decisions are more than questionable.)
So, if you sieve all the "bad" ones out, you'll be holding a mostly empty vessel at the end.
