I am a counter. I set goals for myself and try to hit them. if i hit this goal, it means i get out there, and sometimes i get motivated to get in the car just because i am behind on my days.

    so i like it.

I'm at Day 8, and everyday so far has at least been soft, if not a powder day. No complaints here.

    4 so far!

I keep a spreadsheet dating back to '01 when I started tracking them in high school...decided to create a line graph from the data in said spreadsheet so I can prove to my wife I'm more nuts than she originally thought. Pointed out to her some downward spikes of bad snow years....also day count goals for this season which are projected to be above average.

Most of my enumerations are purely irrational, transcendental and often imaginary.

6 so far for me. I usually lose count , but the season pass scanner gun thing tells you if you ask the guy nicely, I usually ask in the spring, when I'm close to done for the season.

Thank god I'm not the only one.... I track the weather before, day-of, clothes worn, vert, companions, zones ridden, food/h2o/hydro consumed, gear carried, and # of pow-dragons slayed. Also goggle selection, glove choice, and sock thickness are all noted.

I count my days of lift-served, not so that I can brag about how much I ski, but because I'm interested in the numbers and their financial implications on my pass/ticket purchases for the next season

    Do you "count your days?"

I keep a ski journal to record outings and certain details (weather, partners, significant occurrences) much like the old guys mentioned in previous comments. I also doodle in it, which is why I prefer a journal to a spread sheet. Although, I quite like the idea of collecting years of ski data and attempting to correlate it with other variables. That's pretty rad.
