    Breckenridge Lodging Rec?

    Quick version:
-- Recs for relatively affordable lodging near Breck Peak 9 Base?

    Long version:

I would just stay in the Dillon Super-Duper-8 again like I did on my last Denver biz trip + Breck dawn patrol, but this time the biz trip's timing coincides with a suffer fest I just can't resist:

... plus I might even have a fellow member of Team "MASS HYPOXIA" to join me in my misery:

... but I draw the line at having to pick up my race packet Friday evening at Mountain Outfitters then drive back to Dillon only to have to show up the next morning at -- oh my god what time does the mandatory gear check begin?!?

So, yeah, would like to find a place within walking distance of the Maggie Restaurant at the Peak 9 Base.
A long walk is fine, since it will be a good warm-up for what is to follow...

I already had a rec for the Fireside Inn:

... but they're all booked up.

Doesn't have to be fancy, and shared bathroom is fine, but don't want a dorm room.

Thanks, and wish me -- well, I don't really need luck for the race, just no bad luck, and especially no broken gear!

I stayed at the Village at Breckenridge two years ago with my wife an infant son. Found a good deal on VRBO.com, some units are timeshares or privately owned and rented. I think it was about $160 a night for a studio with a full kitchen and private bathroom. Nothing fancy, but about 100 yds from the chair at the bottom of Peak 9. Plenty of hot tubs and a sauna as well.

Close to main st. and restaurants etc as well.
    Best Regards,

    UMKP
