Think make brain hurt.

Around here the boarders & splitters almost never make it into the side country so I would rather have a rider in-bounds and on one plank than on skis riding where I do ... I think boards are great

I was hoping for more of a challenge, but he's resorted to simply deleting posts. Mostly his own thankfully.

so clearly some random split boader schooled him both at tranny and on the up track. he prob couldn't even keep up to the split boarder breaking trail.
and the the split boarder shagged his now X-girlfriend in the hot tub of the expensive condo he rented for the weekend ... eh ?
shoulda bought a sled ...We, the RATBAGGERS, formally axcept our duty is to trigger avalaches on all skiers ...

Funny story: I toured with a splitboarder for 7yrs, one of my most frequent partners and good friend. I joked with him all the time about it...sometimes he wasn't very amused.
I talked him into picking up skiing 3 years ago...
He hates Splitboarders now.
edit to add: I'm all for light-hearted fun but the site seems kinda serious about the issue.

My thoughts ? Snowshoes > Splitboards.
Fuck assembling a board on top of some wind scoured ridgeline like it's a piece of Ikea furniture.

I have both now. AT and splitboards. Good to have a quiver for different objectives.
The snowpack in CO has been so punchy lately, I've witnessed many good skiers struggling while I just cruise by making pow turns on the split.
I don't get the hate, although I know it's a troll, splitboards are a very useful tool in the BC. Fuck slowshoes. I spent too many years on those to know that 90% of the time, splits are better. I'd say that in the next few years, splitboard transitions will become much easier and faster and less cumbersome. There's a lot of money in the sport driving innovation right now.

I'm just here to kill this very important thread.
But seriously folks, snowboarding feels like 1992, there are way more of you now, and you really hate us again.

Splitboarding is the only reason I would ever learn to snowboard- touring in snowboard boots>touring in ski boots

Everyone is entitled to their opinions biased or not, but this guy crossed the line. Anybody with kids will understand, and most without will probably also understand. Read below, the post by hikeforturns:
