TR: Some steep skiing in the Green Mountain State

Ullr has been generous this season with the right snow to get our steeper terrain really filled in nicely. We have been able to ski them for over a month now, but this weekend served up the best its been a while. Deep and stable except for some fast running sluff that gave me a short ride. No one around all weekend, could not have been more ideal.

Treewelldweller, High Anxiety, AKOKskis, Sequoishan, and myself set out on a trip to get some of the better ones over the course of 2 days.

The climbing was sporty, arduous, and really fun

High Anxiety making his first turns

TWD dropping in off the ice fall

    and turns in the chute

    Sequoiashan shredding

Coming off the headwall into the chute

    Akok going in

    going into the chute

    HA coming down the chute

and finishing it out with surfing on the walls

    Seq doing the same

    Myself getting in the fun

    TWD finishing out the day

High Anxiety ending it out through the chokes

snowing hard out again, hope we can keep this streak going.

TC, I hear you might be making an appearance on the ES this month? Could be fun....

Keeping in theme, I put them in roll call. Dont want people getting confused as to which conditions thread they are in.

    Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayum... That looks freakin' amazing!

It's like clockwork- if Sequoiashan is in the lineup, you fucked up if you weren't there! Dood knows how to pick his days!

Awesome shots. Where is this video I heard of though? Not sure if the first or second shot of Sequoiashan is my favorite. The background in the first is awesome.

Maybe we'll have a you show me yours and I'll show you mine weekend sometime soon

I had a "Where's Waldo?" moment looking at that second photo. And that's a good thing.

    Great stuff.
