What the fuck is swissiphic doin round here??? I'll bet that he could provide some ridiculously good stoke, sage advice and poignant repartee. Wonder if he's just an alias for Ian McIntosh?

just got back down from Dease. Colours galore. There was snow, but it looked to have mostly melted away. Maybe some scatterings on isolated N faces.

The stoke is still there...but tempered by fear....fear of a re emergence of high pressure and blocking pattern...I know I know...long term forecasts are unreliable...but...sliver of fear...sliver of fear. anyone out there have a jet stream deflector I can borrow?

I told Brian I read on the internet that he was a legend and asked if I could carry his saw for him!
snowed an inch while we were up there today, got a lot done and we both felt strong ... good training for skiing
cutting with the snow coming down is pretty neat and cools things offLast edited by XXX-er; 10-25-2014 at 08:46 PM.

Hey guys, been in PG 2.5yrs and just found this thread. Stoked to see that others are getting at it in the North!
Would love to find someone to tour or sled ski around PG. I'm an expert skier in great shape and have 2012 Pro RMK. In other words I can keep up
...this sounds like I'm on a dating site haha. Seriously though would love to find some people to show me around, especially touring. Have all the gear and some avi training, hopefully will get AST1 this winter.

And it was! blue bird -2 calm with 30+ cms fresh, got the very 1st tracks of the year on Chapmans which means we had to lay in a skin track in 1/2meter of snow to get out but ... a good day at the office!
