Can someone explain these videos to me?

There's quite a few of these sort of videos that all feature a group of seemingly well funded twenty year olds doing something unique and kind of cool, but in an incredibly well documented way and with links to "behind the scenes" footage. They all have really shitty music too.

I have this unshakable suspicion that they're trying to sell me something, but I can't quite figure out what it is. For no reason that I can put my finger on, I also think they might be Mormons and thus they are not to be trusted.

Yeah there is something really synthetic and creepy about these vids. Holy fuck the music makes me want to neck-punch someone, and I'm not the violent type.

It appears to be self-promotion for the guy who puts them together, and they're trying to lure people into joining them. At the end of the behind the scenes video he invites people to join them - "everyone's welcome!" so it works as a recruiting tool, too.

flyboard is the other one like that.

Rope swings are great, we had a HUGE series of them along a creek in Napa, among some huge oak tress that lined the deep creek. We built platforms.

My theory is that this entire operation is being funded by the LDS church. This is a viral video marketing for becoming a Mormon.

Originally, Graham was studying film at Brigham Young University, hoping to work on feature films. Instead of finishing his degree, Graham decided to try his hand at making and marketing videos on YouTube. His friends were sharing videos of snowboarding adventures and other stunts, and Graham figured such subject matter would be popular with a wide variety of audiences.
You could say that he is just trying to make a buck off of YouTube, but this dude is a 100% Mormon. My bet is that in time, these videos will have some tie to the LDS church (of course they probably already are, since he is likely giving 10% to them already).

Youtubers can make a stupid amount of money. I know a youtuber personally who makes almost six figures just posting gaming videos on the internet. I can't imagine how much this dude makes just going out and filming trips like this.

I suppose they could be Mormons, but there seems to be little for anyone to get the hint by.

Plowed through the three, and after the blob one you start getting hints that its Contour POV cam promos. Thats my guess.

The guy who did the rigging and offered the rides was notified that he was being shut down by the land managers several weeks ago. The blood-curdling screams echoing off of the canyon walls was disturbing to tourists who sought peace and solitude. It does look like fun. I'd promise not to scream...

Just a bunch of well funded bros hanging out with high end video gear... I like the beer commercial feel with the gals just loving hanging out to provide moral support with their cute pets, and not actually being anything other than props.

With all the hot girls in the videos, plus many of the locales seemingly in Utah, it's all becoming clear now. I was wondering what was up with this dude's vids. Some of his older stuff (pre-ghey music and pre-xtreeeeme shenanigans) is really fantastic tho.

sorry. what? did that guy shoot an arrow with a rope attached at a root and then jump off a cliff?

Looks alot like me and my bros just inventing crazy new action/thrill sports with professional photography, a few babes to watch/cheer us on and the cool, refreshing taste of Dr. Pepper. You know what? Dr. Pepper has 23 distinct flavors that will make your mouth go "WOW!!!" Also try Diet Dr. Pepper with the same great taste and less calories!

    Check out this vid. http://www.grindtv.com/outdoor/blog/...a+lovers+leap/
guy pushes his girlfriend off when she doesn't want to go. Staged? The video is kinda long, so skip to the end if you do not want to watch the making of the rope swing

the guy leading this whole thing is pretty creepy. I won't be surprised if they're picking up a bunch of bodies somewhere from drinking his kool aid in 15 years.

I don't care what sky fairy they pray to, building something like that takes some vision and skills and it looks insanely fun.
