skiing this weekend, where to go, what to do
Looked over all the forecasts, conditions, best on-mountain burrito, etc. Things look good considering the forecast but who knows, came up with the following options:
Options:
*The butte, durango and silverton -
**pros: 2 new areas (durango and silverton), have BOGO for the butte.
**cons: the butte looks kind of boney, lots of driving in between, could be rugged if it's snowing.
*wolf creek, durango, and silverton
**pros: 3 new areas, wolf creek looks like it's skiing well
**cons: lots of driving in between, wolf creek and durango seem kind of tame for terrain.
*JH
**pros: one drive, then just to the mountain and back, big area, seems to have good base
**cons: been there before so trying something new sounds good.
*Utah
**pros: lots of options, one big drive
**cons, staying in the city is lame, staying on mountain $$$$, been to most UT places but still haven't done snowbird, park city, canyons, or powder.
So what would you do if you were in Denver and wanted to do a nice ski road trip this weekend.

You should go to Jackson Hole. I hear the hostile is a great place to stay.
