This is one of those songs I rarely listen to, but it gets stuck in my head all the time.

i can’t figure out how you got exposed to all the music you post mainly because I’ve never heard of a lot of the songs or bands you like.

You could type out an explanation for me but I kinda feel a Polaroid pic of you from 10th grade might be worth a thousand words...

Ha, honestly though what’s the story?

Honestly how I found many of these bands was by listening to a weekly radio show that was aired on a Grand Rapids, Michigan radio station in the 80s and 90s called "Clambake." The DJ was really into indie music, especially British indie music. The station just barely came in where I lived in Lansing, but I made sure to record it as often as possible.

Here it is without the equipment malfunctioning.

Unfortunately the Page/Beck lineup was very short lived. The Yardbirds only recorded 2 songs with both of them in the band. Here is the other song:

Try this one. Lotta backstory to him. Produced by Dan Auerbach. Album coming out in May.

Kind of a good fiddle player on this one. Bit of a Squirrel Nut Zippers reunion.

After 50 years of loving this song I finally know the lyrics.
