Meant to post this up a little earlier... The Who release "Who Are You" Aug 21, 1978

    Keith's Last interview Aug, 7, 1978...

    And of course...

Edit ; Wikipedia says Aug 18 but Keith says the 21st. I'm going with Keith.

Nice. I've never heard any of his stuff. I'm not a country fan really, but It's hard not to like Willie.

    Weed tunes...

Yeah, Not much of a country music fan either. Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real (his band) do kick ass, He describes their music as

I've posted up some of his stuff before

(don't want to bore anybody with too much reposting so here are some links if interested:

Duse's got some chops. He's played with a lot of greats as well, Bob Weir, Neil Young etc., good to have a legend for a dad

Now to find another weed song

Funny, earlier The AD posted up some echo & the bunny men and it reminded me of my days in Hoboken NJ.... Now I'm listening to the Feelies, wondering if I know them. Recognize the sound, definitely know the era. That parting shot... That looks just like Hoboken terminal... google them up, and whaddaya know... great times.

"The Good Earth" was on constant rotation in my house in college. Damn that takes me back.

The Feelies were one of those great (IMO) guitar bands of the 80s that never quite rose above. Pretty direct influence line from the Velvets Underground through them.

^^^ Yep. Should-have-beens for sure. Like "The Lucy Show" and "The Drongos" - absolute perfection that somehow slipped through the cracks.
