Here's a band I haven't thought about in a long time. When Bauhaus split in 1983 Peter Murphy embarked on a solo career and Daniel Ash and David J formed Tones on Tail. A couple years later they reunited with Bauhaus drummer (and David J's) brother Kevin Haskins to form Love and Rockets.

I've been a fan of Mira for many years. Heard her sets for quite some time in person. I'd like to go to Berlin and see her spin in her homespace and experience that experience.

Got to hang out with her at Tierra Bomba when the power went out. I was at the board and we just were still groovin' with no music and no lights and then had a wonderfully nice chat.

Unfortunately our photos that we made didn't make it.

I brought a 4 year old jar of pickles as a gift to a new friend who clued me in because his brother was the opening DJ. The address was wrong, but I found my way in a back alley to an extravagant over the top space. I can describe it, but it was fucking insane.

I found the guy and his family. His wife instantly took the pickles, dated BM 2016, to their space and screamed, "NOT FOR SHARE, WE SAVE THESE! NOW.".

Caught this set as well, and it puts me in a very happy place, every time.

Try it. It's layered journey. Don't expect climaxes, just layers. She's so amazing at that. Her approach is very unique, and I feel really good experiencing it when she makes it, and it was cool to meet the mind behind the sound in the dust where we could just be. I really wished I had kissed her, but she's married. Oh well.

Obviously audio only, you can find it on soundcloud to download with the easy knowz of soundcloud to mp3.

For context, I've partied hard with these folks, well after the burn too.

So I have no idea what's going in in my brain (as usual) but yesterday I woke up with this song playing in my head:

...and today it was this one:

... Iliterally woke up and said, "She blinded me...with science!" today.

Odd but what the hell I guess I wanted to hear them.

Love that song. Really good cover, thanks.
"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ
"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin

Everyone remembers "Bittersweet Symphony" by (The) Verve, but their first album was much more atmospheric. This track is a nice example. Just let the music wash over you...
