Wow! I didn’t know he wrote that song. A better effort than many of his other Monkey hits. And to think the Monkies started out as a TV series about a fake band, staffed by actors who couldn’t play their instruments, at least initially.

re: Delvon: A few hours later, I've listened to it like 4 times, that is good stuff.

I thought it was current, though, but it's from 2017. That drummer is gone, which is a shame for this trio but I'm sure he's fine wherever he is, because he is in the fuckin pocket like a monster and everybody needs one of those. I really enjoy that dude. He's on it.

My man Jimmy James on the guitar is still there though, and that's a good thing. I love the neck on that guitar. That thing has been played. A lot.

    one more and worth it

Charles Miller, flute/reeds/bass vocals was stabbed to death on an LA street in an apparent botched tobbery for which no one was ever arrested. I think about "slippin into darkness" when I think about that.

okay one more to get that shit out of my head

I hope youz guys don't mind me going off but it's what I wanted to hear so...

If you have 90 minutes to burn some day watch this. Bookmark it, send it to your reading list, whatever. I was stage right all 3 nights, getting paid.

^^should be required watching for your cultural literacy license^^ just so good and relevant. I met the dude and talked to him. A serious highlight of my life no doubt.

That’s not Curtis, it’s some other guy trying to sing like Curtis. It’s an easy mistake o make, since all the youtube videos are mislabeled.
