My favorite John Prine tune bar none and not just because I agree with it wholeheartedly. It's a good tune.

I wonder if he's written anything about that album cover. Look at it. It's not good.

One of my favorite songs to play around a campfire is a Prine classic:

"Hello in There" is one that always makes me sad. Great song writing

A few years back I was pumped that Ginger Baker was going to be playing a small venue in my neck of the woods. Unfortunately he fell ill and cancelled. Hope he is doing better. If you haven't seen this interview, someone posted it up here once before (thanks to who ever that was) check it out when you've got some time. The word cantankerous comes to mind.Note to self, don'e ever try to light Gingers cigarette!

I'm not sure he knows what day it is

Am I just realizing that Will Ferrell & Chad Smith may be one in the same? Will has been drumming with the Red Hot Chili Peppers all these years and then goes out and does comedy?

I guess Im slow to learn that this is a thing (duh)

Saw Baby Driver the other day, and one of the awesome chase scenes is choreographed to this song:

If you want to see some brilliant film+music editing, check this out. The whole movie is so tightly synched to the music, it's amazing:

If you like good music and revolution you should watch this. Recrded at the late great Wax Museum Nighclub in DC, I worked there from before it was open until the day it closed. Best venue ever. I was there for these shows, odd dynamic being in security with an almost 100% black crowd that did not want to hear from Whitey.

Not as bad as the lesbian shows though.

If you don't have time for the film above, this is my favorite GSH tune and it's not in the film so give it a try.

the video is a pastiche but the tune's good and the old footage is kewl. I bet that one guy's knees really hurt now.

I was gonna play a different video but..

...this seemed like a reasonable, um, replacement.
