    Bring Me to Life
    Evanescence
How can you see into my eyes like open doors?
Leading you down, into my core
Where I've become so numb, without a soul
    My spirit's sleeping somewhere cold
Until you find it there, and lead it, back, home
    Wake me up inside
    Wake me up inside
Call my name and save me from the dark
    Bid my blood to run
    Before I come undone
Save me from the nothing I've become
Now that I know what I'm without
    You can't just leave me
Breathe into me and make me real
    Bring me to life
    Wake me up inside
    Wake me up inside
Call my name and save me from the dark
    Bid my blood to run
    Before I come undone
Save me from the nothing I've become
    Bring me to life
    Bring me to life
    Frozen inside, without your touch
    Without your love, darling
    Only you are my life
    Among the…
    Own your fail. ~Jer~

As close to perfection as you can get.

Been listening to a 24bit96k stream of this album... the YouTube sound doesn't do it justice... mind blowing.

Wilbert and Sonny Freeman must make it onto the best rhythm section list.

That’s really sweet! Best version of that song by BB I’ve heard. Thanks for the pointer to the album.

Replacements Dead Man's Pop just came out. Holy crap, this is why Don't Tell A Soul never had the right energy. The mix was all polished and smoothed out. Not many songs from it are available on youtube (it's like 60 songs), but here's one. The mix is far more raw and waaaay more Replacements - mix originally done by Matt Wallace but scrapped by Sire for a poppier sound that we never heard till now.

It's on spotify. If you get a chance compare the song I won't from the original release (not the 2008 remaster) and the Dead Man's Pop version. Amazing.

I always love rolling up to a put in with the raft and being like, I just want to play one song, then you all can play whatever.

Then I get a nasty look with a laugh from my buddy who's old as shit. Oh, one of those songs?! They last like 3 hours.

    And then I laugh:

I hadn't listened to Blur's eponymous album in a long time and forgot all about this song. First song written and sung by Graham Coxon to appear on a Blur record. Great lo-fi track. Bob Pollard would love it!
