I call BS on the slough argument. Unless the run is not shown in proper order.
That thing comes like a freight train way above him, across the whole slope, and when he skied that upper area seconds earlier there was barely any slough off his turns.

his slough have triggered something larger. Way larger than what he kicked loose.

Competion apparently put on hold after this run ?

Fast forward to 55s... Deserves its own thread.

seriously??? the judging criteria includes fluidity and that had zero. it also includes control and it was lacking. there is a reason he came in fifth

here's a third place line with lots of fluidity

the gopro is worth a watch too

or maybe something like this is more your style. it's a bit more billy goaty but still fluid (and way more awesomer)

Sverre Liliequist - back flip out of avalanche...

The Haines venue is a groomer compared to the Verbier venue. Watch the 2008-2011 first place finishers for the fluidity on that face. Super committing lines at high speeds with massive sends in tricky conditions. Sam's run is up there too in my mind. I'd love to see the Mac Daddy face come back. That was an awesome venue.

^ For sure but I've seen a lot better lines there too.
