I can't believe I've never thought of putting a beer in there. Wonder how many can shove in there?
Cages, the only way to fly. Hate the camelback. If I'm doing a long day I use it but I don't like it.

I think the font Santa Cruz used for it's Superlight is unsafe at any speed. The paint also isn't reflective enough for night riding.
I've been wanting to get that off my chest for a while now.

I really loved that bike, but the standover height just didn't suit my style of riding, and standing.

Don't knock the fanny pack til you try it. One of my riding buddies has used one as long as I've known him. We made fun of him for years, and then one by one, everyone started switching. So glad I don't haul around a backpack anymore.
Unless a ride is longer than 3 hours or it's crazy hot, I don't need more than a single bottle and all the tools/tubes/food I'll need get stuffed into the fanny back. No backpack needed.

I like that the MTB community generally seems to be more laid back than the ski community, but yes some of the asinine debate topics make me shake my head.
Anywayz my DH bike doesn't have bottle mounts. Should I sell it? Give it away? Duct tape it to the frame? Want to participate in this thread.

I test rode the new 2013 model at a demo last weekend and man was I impressed. I'm pretty close to ordering one, but I just can't get past the cable routing. To me the 2010 model had some of the cleanest cable routing I've ever seen (which is why I bought one) so I can't figure out why they changed it. Can anyone weigh in on this?

You know what is more asinine than the stupid shit people debate on MTBR.
Starting a thread in here to talk about the stupid shit people debate on MTBR.
p.s. I know several absolute ripping riders that have been rocking the fanny packs the last couple years.

Someone on MTBR tried to start an internet fight with me over the presence of a 1 mm washer. It’s too stupid to even attempt to explain.

More GOLD from MTBR, they are truly modern day alchemists.

I will agree that there's lot's of stupid shit on MTBR...but take a few minutes and scroll the first couple pages of this thread:

Threads like this one are the reason I still spend time over there.

Yeah but there's only Mike and maybe 5 other people that post anything even resembling stoke on MTBR these days. I've found some good info on rides from time to time but it's getting pretty sparse.
