Got 4 tix for Red Sox/Yanks on the 20th, and 2 tix for Rays/Yanks on the 24th. It is nice to see some outdoor baseball while the weather is nice down here.

Yep - we'll be at that one, and the home Philly's game on 3/13 and the away game in Dunedin on the 14th...
I really appreciate the offer, but I think we'll probably skip the meet up. This is a trip my Dad and I have been talking about doing for about 20 years, and we live about 2000 miles apart nowadays and never get to see each other - especially without our wives in tow. For the 5 days we have for the trip, I think we'll just keep it simple. Like I said though, I really do appreciate the offer and I would totally be in to meeting up if I end up down there again, which I expect I will at some point. I'll let you know when/if that comes together.
Anybody going to the Yankees games at Coors Field this year? 5/7,8,9. I just got my tix for all three games. I know a bunch of people from Summit are heading down - could make for a great meetup.

I'm hoping to get down to Phoenix next month to take in a couple Cactus League games. Anyone who's been want to opine on the best stadiums?

Who's going to end up in last place in the AL East, the Yankees or Red Sox? My bet is on the Sox, but the Yankees will be there at the end.
Let the re-building process begin.

Just one of the employees, sort of. He did play college and minors though.
He took care of their health insurance from '79 to '98 or so.

King Felix a Mariner for life - so much for sawx making run at him

Almost through page 1 without a single mention of the reigning World Series Champion San Francisco Giants.
I'll be rooting for back to back & 3 outta 4.
Timmy's in his FA walk year with something to prove and he just saw the kinda cash King Felix got.

I've always liked and respected Todd Helton for sticking with a shit team like the Rockies, but he buys lottery tickets?
He obviously needs to get a grip...
Todd Helton: The $160 million baseball star who got a DUI going to buy lottery tickets
"When you think of Todd Helton, you think of a baseball veteran who has, thus far, played his entire career with one team, the Colorado Rockies. You think of him chasing a .400 batting average some years ago. You don't think punchlines.
Wednesday's early morning DUI arrest, however, might just change that. We already watched Helton enter the Horrible Mugshot Hall of Fame and today comes this unfortunate wrinkle to the story: Helton had driven to a gas station to buy ... wait for it ... lottery tickets.
Lottery tickets?!? Really? We're talking about a guy who has made more than $160 million in his career, including a nine-year, $141.5 million contact he signed in 2001....."# # #
