Seriously? I’m not a chomper, hate ‘people’ talking during a show. Your love for this poser is bordering on a 12 year old girls obsession with Taylor Swift. How’s that feel?

They were great last night at the Mission. Generous offer. Wish I could make it tonight...hope someone takes advantage.

Well, hot damn, tonight was straight burnin’ fire. The band was just so, so ON. (And from what I hear, no Amanda drama, we didn’t make it until Jason’s set). Mission BR was very, very tacky, unfortunately.
But holy shit, last night’s King Of Oklahoma, just wow. Took my 16 year old (who is learning Bass), and he was blown away. Anna on the upright was such a treat. This Ain’t it was the other standout, as well as Speedtrap Town, which I have not seen. He is mixing things up a bit more, which is awesome.

Buttah, if you ever can get over your prejudice (is it just the Southern vibe?) GO SEE HIM.
The notion that he is a ‘poser’ is flat out insane, he is possibly one of the finest guitar players out there right now, and arguably one of the most nuanced story tellers of this generation.
I don’t really know what you listen to, but whoever it is, they probably have mad, mad respect as well.

Why is it so expensive? I’m not into, nuanced story time either. I just want it loud and clean. I love Molly Hatchet so yeah it’s not the southern thing that turns me off. It’s him, guy has wicked creeper vibe. Plus that Rooftop song is such overblown garbage I can’t get past it.

If you don’t like it don’t listen. Just put Dick’s Picks on shuffle and stop complaining about other’s taste in music. FWIW I’m not a huge fan of Isbell solo, love DBT though.

Sniffing your jock? Grow up and people might take you seriously. Nothing worse than a 60 year old with a 12 year old emotional development.

We get that you don’t like Isbell, let it be. There’s probably better ways to get attention than being “That Guy”.

That’s fair, though in my case it’s not arguing it’s more like trying to redirect Corky so he stops eating the paste

LOL, for once I was asking BF an honest question, I was curious what set him off, for real.

However, judging Isbell for Death Wish (kind of don’t like it myself) is like judging the G.D. For ‘France’ or ‘Touch Of Grey’. Just so, so far from what they were really about. I definitely am all about story time, I guess, different flavors make for different meals.

Back to the Co shows.....I thought the Amanda drama was entertaining at the Mission. All the women were "You go girl" with Amanda's schick but you know they are there to see Isbell. Mrs dawg took our HS daughter to RR and they were both blown away. I liked the Cure cover, cool to see them play a diff genre - but surprised they played it both nights.

I don't think they've ever sounded better. Great show and the Fillmore never disappoints.

Was concerned because the complex in SLC is generally awful but holy shit that was awesome. SRO in full plus some additions. Cooley always needs to be turned up.

Well, JI400U absolutely annihilated Deer Valley last night. Set was a little more varied, but certainly Weathervanes heavy (NOT a bad thing). They are firing on all cylinders.
Anna is coming into her own. Sure, we lost something with Jimbo’s departure, but what we have gained with the Double Bass is truly excellent. We got Anxiety, which was a novelty with Will and Chad on double drums, which was cool. But that song is a bit of an aquired taste.
A paramedic was needed up front during the solo to Outfit, but them’s the breaks.
    So, so good.

I don’t know how, but someone stole my identity, and with my CC #, they somehow booked 4 nights in Mexico City for some JI400U. shows…I guess I’ll keep them. As well as business class tickets to Mexico City. Those bastards!!!

Hello everyone, I'm writing this post as a last resort to express my frustration and disappointment with the forum's rules and restrictions. I've been a member of this community since 2023, and despite my efforts to engage and contribute, I've been unable to start an introduction thread or purchase a few essential items that I need. It seems like I'm being unfairly restricted from fully participating in the forum, and I'm starting to feel like an outsider looking in. I've tried to reach out to the moderators and administrators, but my messages have gone unanswered. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or what I need to do to become a "trusted" member. I'm simply looking for a way to connect with others who share similar interests and needs. I hope someone can provide some guidance or support. I'm feeling quite disheartened by the whole experience.
