Great idea it’d be easier to line up the pivot point through the rack.

Even if it doesn't qualify as porn it's at least Farrah Fawcett poster material. Same ends accomplished.

My Mom came for a visit with her longtime boyfriend who’s also a car guy. Spent the afternoon behind the wheel of his new used toy. Jaguar F-Type is quite a machine once you get used to the paddle shifters.

Cross post from view right now thread.

As seen this evening avoiding a tornado at a Loves Truck Stop by The Ritz at Reynold’s Plantation, GA on our way back from the NC coast.

Just a pristine 66 Ferrari 330 v12 in classy as fuck navy.

Guy drives it on one road trip a year from my conversation with him. FL tags.

    In the rain.

I get the 356 / 911 confusion but I actually got a peek inside the Italian. Nothing but high dollar restoration in there.

The juxtaposition of one of the prettiest cars ever made in the foreground with the Jeep pickup which has to be one of the ugliest cars ever made is great.

To take it a step further you’ll notice that Taurus in the background with the hood and trunk popped. Apparently that guy's car didn’t run in the rain and the fix was in the trunk the way he was beating around back there.

I asked the Ferrari guy why he didn’t park under the canopy to stay out of the rain and he said because he didn’t want to get that wet walking to the store.

correct, mis-type on my part, had 911 on my mind as was asking if he would be willing to part with his 98 911.

1963 356 S, had the 2 air grills on the back hood, re-paint but original dash. Rest is original except for engine -rebuild a few years ago.

We were talking 911's (guess he owns 7 of them), as well as old Austin Martin, Austin Healey 3000, 3 multi window buses, couple vanagons, 2x 356 speedsters (one on a rotisery). He has a warehouse in Colorado Springs apparently and spent good 30 mins going through his collection on the iPad with me

Really was excited to show off his collection. He said he will bring something different each time he visits.
