There’s a couple green(ish) 918, not sure if there was ever a factory green 959. Canepa sprayed one.

Selling a car on BaT seems like a royal pain in the ass. Those goofballs in the comments section that nit pick about everything, "what is the date code on the tires, etc."
Here it is with a description along with 200 pictures, buy it or don't cause I don't have time for this bullshit."timberridge is terminally vapid" -- a fortune cookie in Yueyang

The nitpicking is worse on Cars and Bids because they usually don't know shit about cars and are just parroting what they read on Bring a Trailer.
Every car with modified emissions gets the same idiot comment on if it can pass emissions in California. JDM cars already registered in US states gets compared to R34 that the government seized when it clearly is legal as it is 25 year old. Fucking half baked moron kids mostly but some clueless boomers as well

Plenty of noise but also some really knowledgeable people chiming in from time to time. Live commentary helps maintain some level of honesty and is what makes BAT different.

To wit: (and f/u Mazderati for making me go over there today )
I used to own one of these and curiousity got the better of me why it's a 52K car, but check out the exhausting conversation that includes whether the floor mats are original on a 27 yr old car.

Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.

Mexico Blue, that's hot. Those wheels and Michelins just scream grip even standing still.
Right? But at least there its a passion and part of the culture of trying to get everything as "correct" as possible.
This is BaT where every Persian with a big bank account or tech bro with zero auto knowledge can bid up a 1988 Honda Accord to high 5 digits just so they can brag about it, and the peanut gallery, those who will never buy shit, sit there and complain endlessly in the comment section about an off-color window switch on a car that someone's grandma left in the garage since the first Bush Administration. Insufferable twats.
That Hyundai concept was on TG the other day and is fucking Rad. We deserve cars to look like they came from Back to the Future 2.I still call it The Jake.

The car nerd questions about date codes and originality don't bother me at all so long as they are asked in good faith. Lots of the back-and-forth is avoidable with a good presentation.
That N1 GT-R was RNM at 141k. Thought it would go higher 100s.
Definitely dig the Hyundai concept. Makes me think Espada x Quattro.

You may be right. Aren’t they bringing back the Delorian of sorts?
I saw they took that new 928 to Goodwood. If I was there it may have gone missing.I still call it The Jake.

Sadly, the DeLorean reboot reeks of vaporware at this point:
“Joost de Vries, the current CEO of DeLorean Motor Company, told Texas Public Radio in March that the new cars will be built in a yet-unconstructed building in San Antonio, with the company planning to hire up to 450 people over the next several years (though he told the British trade publication Autocar that the new car will be built in Italy).”
A yet to be constructed building, with yet to be hired workers, in a yet to be determined country over a yet to be determined period of time.

So, all they need to do is find a warzone with a brutal colonizer looking to underwrite a coke fueled business plan and smuggle drugs on the side to recreate the real Delorean?
