    MT is one of a few states that it's easy to register and title questionable vehicles. You don't have to go there because it's mail in and their rules are pretty loose.

    they usually setup a Montana LLC that registers the vehicle so they don’t have to pay license/registration/tax in their home state, multiple states have found this tax dodge illegal

    I think one of the SLC mags had a 928 for awhile. He seemed to love it, but it sounded like a lot of complex repairs. I would have loved to drive it back when Montana had no speed limit. Alas, I had to make do with a 5-series BMW…
