I went to that too, 3 or 4 years in a row now. the best auction to go to is bonhams out in quail valley. always has the most cars and best selection, everything from 1930s to 2011 Ferraris.

    Those auctions are so rigged.

    That RUF CTR is sexy.

What kinda coin are the auctioneers at RM, etc pulling in? Seems like a sweet gig.

I was lucky enough to put a few hundred miles on this last week. Without any doubt, this is the finest "everyday" car that I have ever had the pleasure of driving. Comfy, stable and FAST! While my turbo S has a sport mode, this monster Exclusive has not only a sport mode, but also a sport + mode and what I will call a nitrous mode. OMG, when you have this baby in sport + and push the center button "nitrous" mode, it is like driving a rocket ship. While it may be close, I would rather drive this than the Ferrari Speziale. Everyday driving, there is no comparison

This about floored me when I saw it at a show yesterday. I talked to the owner and he said that even with those 12" wide meats on the rear it would still break loose in every gear. He said it's almost too light to take advantage of all the motor has to give. It also gets well over 20mpg on the highway so it's their road trip car. Click image for larger version.

This was outside, looked like they just finished cleaning it up. I have no idea what it is other than a Cadillac because of the badge on the steering wheel, probably a concept car.Click image for larger version.

Yes, prior owner painted it Jaguar's BRG. He had a car racing team and access to some cool tools. The wheel center caps are Sprite hood ornaments - he somehow machined out the centers so he could press them in there.

Its not the most practical car, but is is a blast to drive. Plus its always happy (big smiley face on the front). I have a top for it, but I've never put it on. Luckily it doesn't rain much in summer where I live.

I don’t know where else to put this but I think it’s definitely car porn.

Did this run this morning. Such an amazing drive: more turns than you can count, 2 national forests, mountains and lots of elevation changes, smooth tarmac and all to myself on a beautiful late summer/early fall day.
