Steering wheels with wood are for dentists, or drivers who wear gloves. I dislike them. Same with carbon. At lest the carbon wheel above is wrapped with enough leather not to matter that much, but Porsche could do much better.

That part of the wheel is just for decoration anyway.

I hear ya on the wheel but the whole thing is an homage to the first 911 which had a wood wheel. For that reason it gets a pass.

Shit, I just want that color, those wheels, and those houndstooth seats.

And I only wear fine corinthian leather gloves and assless chaps for driving.

Somewhere on there HAS to be a "summon concubines" button.

I think the F1 comes standard with concubines. Probably lots of them.

You're right, it's likely a dial. Probably the GRP (should be a fun acronym to play with) 1-12 top right.

Look, I get it. I do.

As BeerDrinker pointed out, this is one of the few 10 second quarter mile cars sold straight bone stock - especially in that price range.

I just think its ugly. And useless.

Yeah, I'm a Euro-snob most days but I'd take a current Corvette in any flavor over this thing - even if it would blow the doors off it at a stop light.

Chevy's got it figured out: LeMans, IMSA races... and winning. Ford's got it too with the GT but FCA? Nope. Jeeps and uninspired, yet completely powerful, muscle-reduxes.

Mopar has been a staple in drag racing since the beginning, it's their roots, similar to the vettes at LeMans.

This was both a good starting and stopping point. The new Demon is a 9 second production car. It's the quickest of five. Ever. For less than $100k. With a warranty. Mission accomplished.

The Viper was a dominant force in road racing for a decade. And an eight year old Viper holds spot 10 on the list of quickest cars around Nurburgring. Still winning.
