Look pivot 18 toe baseplate broke off...
And is gone. Boot toe now moves around. Is this a simple fix in shop that I can wait for or am I hosed and need to ski a different pair today?
Thanks!

I think you are too core to ski today and you may break the mountain off
I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Shop didn't have baseplate. Have to wait for new one. This sucks. I thought these bindings were supposed to be bombproof. Is this a normal thing. Base plates breaking off?

Yeah. Probably just a freak thing. I'm going to try and ski them today. Using the extra skis I had up was horrible in yesterday's conditions at squaw. All I could think about was how much I wanted my skis back. Thanks!

If anyone cares. Skied with them today with the broken baseplate. Once I got over the fact that is was broken I pretty much forgot about it and skied pretty hard without any issues. So I guess it's not a huge deal but I'm
Going to have it fixed because I don't like the toe moving around. Cheers!

Karma. I wish good karma on you!
Thanks! I appreciate the offer. Look sending one under warranty. I'm also getting two extras. Hopefully I won't ever need them.

They have the best warranty program and you dont even need to go through a shop since it usually takes a shop twice as long to get parts or send stuff back. It's pretty hard to break an all metal binding, a plastic pos binding on the other hand is fairly easy to break. Is there a better binding then the fks180/lookp18?

Same thing happened to and old pair of FKS I have. I called up Rossignol and they sent me a new pair, I had them in less that a week. Very easy customer service.
