Yes, ever since playing for the Red Sox he is a big fan of backcountry skiing. And he speaks in a funny antipodean dialect!

It hasn't snowed in ages in California, but can I nominate this TR for the Hall of Fame?

    Nice TR.

Any mounting thoughts for the countdown 6s?
Do you realize that you've just posted an admission of ignorance so breathtaking that it disqualifies you from commenting on any political or economic threads from here on out?

I dunno. My theory is ya'll stopped the snow. I can't imagine Schralph saying at some point that he's never need to ski again after this trip.

I recall this day, as I was doing CP to KW. It was cold, and all the promise of a good winter lay ahead. Then 2013 happened.

I did say that I would be okay giving up splitboarding after riding that line.

But I was not the one who said that I was ready to die and go to Heaven - that was our Austrian friend!!!!

Happy to see some of my best work (the trip report) so revered

I have them mounted at the most forward point recommended by the manufacturer: http://www.downskis.com/skis/countdown-6

10 year bump … last time I uploaded a TR! Lol!
Now I’m married with 2 young kids and am happy if I get 45 mins to ski by myself, ski time is counted in minutes, not days!
But I can never forget losing my innocence on this glorious day with great friends and partners!!!
