Thanks for the compliments guys.
UCL, that ridgeline does connect up with Baldwin off to looker's left out of frame.
I have no idea how tricky it is to access the Baldwin Cirque from the either of the two main faces on the west side of the ridge. Here is an image from April 2010 of the the northwest face. I have no idea what the southwest gully looks like. It seems possible, depending what is on the eastern side of that ridge.
That would be a pretty sweet car-to-car tour from Convict to McGee, via a badass couloir and a beautiful cirque. Got any time off in April?_______________________________________________

I skied the bloody in early may of 2010, on a the first sunny day after about 8 inches of graupel and dense snow fell in mammoth lakes the day before. Clouds socked in as we approached the broad ramps east of the couloir, and it snowed about 3 inches of cold stellars as we sat atop the east summit of Bloody in a windless cloud. Skies broke as we started to get cold and we made the traverse west; the run down the couloir, skied with a dear friend who has since passed away, was probably the best I have ever had. Not counting a short ascending traverse right out of the Laurel Lakes drainage, we were able to rip turns on good snow to within 200' of the car.

I have polite skiers's remorse!
I think we went in the order we reached the summit. Pretty sure Franz snuck in a couple Red Bulls because he practically jogged up the last 1000' of boot packing.

GoPro should definitely hit it first

It has been a long time since I have skied Bloody. I love looking at that little hill (when I get down that way) brings back memories. Of course, the last time I was up there I backed off the couloir because is was boilerplate and breakable at the same time and I was scared shitless looking at the roll over into it.
Would love to snag it it conditions like you had.

Well, well...if you guys need a staging area for any of these epic BC trips I have a cabin in June with an extra bedroom & a pullout couch, the only catch is you have to bring my gapeing ass.

Very nicely done gents. I know a few of you have been eyeing that line for years. Wish I could have joined ya, but a day trip to CP was plenty ass kicking.
