K2 DARKSIDE 2009 VS 2011

Hallo,

I have lost my old Darksides, that I was completelly in love with and I need to replace them.

The question is: Is the new (2011, fully rockered) model as good as previous one, or should I look for the old one ?

Writing "good" I consider "best ever, take everywhere except the groomers" skis .

Having skied on the original 2009 and the current Darkside, I much prefer the fully rockered current version.

FWIW, the 2011 ski is outstanding touring and at the resort. The rocker makes it so easy to initiate the turn...doubt you will be disappointed.

Is this huuuge rocker not annoying when the snow gets hard ?
Does the 2011 still curve on the groomers like the 2009 model did ?

Of course, I know that this is a definitely powder ski, but the 2009 Darkside was that versatile that I can't imagine anything better for skiing in the Eastern Europe and in the Alps. Is the the 2011 DS that versatile ?
