I need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

The ban of Ran
Back in the 1200's Ran was an Emperor in the southern provinces. It was his edict that suggested that beginner skiers should be segregated from the masses, and should not venture into more serious and/or out of bounds terrain (subjecting themselves to potential death or at very least rescue). The "ban of Ran" further decreed that beginners (or ジャークオフ、初心者のあくびをする人) who transgressed the boundary ropes be banished to ジャークオフ、初心者のあくびをする人 - デイスタン where they would become either slave girls or eunuchs.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Depends a lot on where you are. Niseko of course has heaps. Central Japan has plenty, though recently lacking in an established winter pattern that brings loads and loads as it usually does in early January. This has been great for backcountry skiers at least in my valley as we still ski some type of powder every day they want it without the trail breaking hassle on a daily basis. But overall it has been intermittent for lift skiers.
Ban the Ran.Life is not lift served.
