    TR: Rohr - Duffey Jan 11, 2013

40 new in valley. 60 new in alpine. Lee, Sharon, Tyler and Dan went out to the duffey to find collection zones to gut and sunny south facing slopes to ski. Its a rare opportunity to get this cold clear weather without NE winds so we headed to Rohr and ended up skiing 2 laps ridgetop to valley 2x 1000m (sorry fuck you freedom units so no idea what it is in furlongs, chains , fathoms or whatever you backward ass units you use.

We found the grooming to be poor but the constant faceshots from ridgetop to valley to be more then acceptable

    Herein the photo dump

    we go up

Have to go for another lap. 1 chute down another 5 to go. But how we wish we had the mad gnar of Berthoud Pass instead.

    Snow is still acceptable

There's a lifetime of terrain up there. I'd love to be able to spend an entire winter up there, one of the coolest places I've ever been.

Why so mad, Lee-brah? Those 45% taxes sticking it to your rich ass? I thought Canadians were supposed to be the happiest people in the world besides the Danes (oh the blonde leggy women everywhere on the bikes.......)

And thanks for not hating on N California. We try our best to KIR. And of course thanks for the always epic stoke.

Nice work Lee. Can't wait for my next trip up there.

Aaron and I were at Keith's last March.
I can't believe you are a rando racer because I look so much better in Lycra than you.

People who don't think the Earth is flat haven't skied Vail.

Norcal doesn't have close to the level of butthurt about nothing as UT, therefor not as much fun to insult

So awesome and so true... not to mention not having to risk your life accessing that type of terrain right after a storm! Wish I could join you tomorrow, but I have an appointment with the dentist!
