    Shiffrin

Are we going to be able to watch all the races on Atomic Ski Fans?

FKNA, must’ve done some extra pull-ups or something - #98! Pretty soon she’ll have more reindeer than Santa.
Puts her on track to compete for win#100 at killington in 2 weeks.

That would be cool to see her win 100 at Kmart.

    Amazing Racer -
I am grateful to have lived during MS's era..

    I am glad that her races can be found online ;
times have changed - Maybe it's not such a loss that ski racing cannot be found on broadcast television.

    Congratulations on #98 ! and

Good luck for the season ahead. !

She is skiing so good. Set up to win 100 in front of the home crowd at Killington.

Also, a lot of fresh faces in the top 20 including on the podium today. 18yr old Albanian, Jr. World Champ Super G, Colturi in second. First World Cup podium in her third start. Damn.

She really is some sort of machine. She seemed to have 1 or 2 slightly uncarved turns around 1/3 to 1/2 way down, and then it was like an instantaneous reset, almost made her ski better, and back to metronome. It’d be cool if she can get 100 in Killington. It would be a little insane there.

    Good on her

She is the smoothest skier I have ever seen. Just a joy to watch.

Pure joy to watch her carve down those courses. Next 2 races are in North America with of course Killington first then up to Canada and Tremblant for the following week. Would be so fantastic to see her continue her winning streak for sure.

I'm getting pretty excited for tomorrow. Day tripping with the kids and ex-wife, so it's gonna be a long day, but I've never been disappointed watching a top-tier sporting event.

I did just get an email from Killington reminding me that it will be crowded, something about being one of the few places open for skiing and *also* hosting a World Cup.

If Shiffrin could pull off her first Killington GS win, that would be absolutely incredible. A real dreamer would hope for a Shiffrin win with the US women beating their Soelden result.

Far more likely Shiffrin pulls off 100 Sunday, but nothing is guaranteed, and it should be one heck of an effect either way.

US ski star Mikaela Shiffrin, chasing a landmark 100th World Cup win, topped the first leg of the giant slalom in Killington, Vermont, on Saturday.

Shiffrin, a two-time Olympic champion and five-time overall World Cup champion, was second out of the gate in the opening run and defied difficult, windy conditions to take the lead in 55.78sec

    Sweden's Hector Sara was second-quickest in 56.10

2nd run scheduled for 1pm ET. It is being broadcast live on Peacock.

So anyone else watching Killington GS on Peacock? Second runs and 2 or 3 times I've lost the connection and just went black? Not sure if it is Peacock or only my end!

Mikaela went down and crashed!!! Hope she is fine, and not major!! But respectable finishes for some of the other US skiers -5th for Moltzan and 6th for O'Brien

She's getting taken down in a sled. Peacock cut off coverage.

Just read that she was still on the ground during the award ceremony and that the TV broadcast cut out. Guess it will be a bit for an update.

    Prayers and vibes.
