She's out for the season. MCL tear and TP bruise. No surgery, just therapy and rest, plus no skiing.

Wise move. M's got a long career ahead, with lots of potential wins.

Too bad, but she's so young that she has another whole decade to dominate. Hope she heals well.

Mikaela's an elite athlete, World Champion and Olympic Gold Medallist. Here's what she does in the gym during the summer:

Figured she goes cliff jumping with Mancuso during her off season. Guess not.

Sounds like she is coming back February 15th for a rescheduled slalom. The young a heal fast

She is only 300 points back in the Slalom standings. I wonder if she can make a challenge for the lead?

That angle is awesome. It boggles my mind that she can be back on the snow, in perfect form, so soon.

Most hackers on the hill these days have no clue the acceleration that can be generated from a well executed turn. Awesome viewing angle. Fun to watch...and yummy also.

    Yeah, that vid was sweet.

On FB, when she commented about racing this weekend, somebody posted "Please don't take too many risks!" Her response: "My job is to take risks. My knee is 100%."

    BOOM.
