Director of New Media
Reports to: CEO

The Director of New Media is responsible for the overall strategic growth and vision of digital media for Teton Gravity Research. Through management of a talented team the Director will deliver monetization and marketing planning in the following areas:

Advertising
Affiliate Programs
Ecommerce
Digital Downloads and Streaming Media
Mobile, Social, and Device Applications
Content Curation and Development
In addition to these primary goals, the Director must create collaborative relationships with other departments by utilizing merchandise, content and campaign opportunities to build an online lifestyle brand that is the dominant media voice in the gravity sports space. This role will work closely with senior management and stakeholders to establish long term and seasonal planning, identify new opportunities, and translate opportunities into actionable strategies.

Core Responsibilities:
P&L responsibility for projecting, budgeting and managing fiscal year financial activities.
Manage New Media team to achieve positive results in visitor monetization, traffic growth, brand development, client deliverables, and content collaboration and delivery.
Recognize and develop best in class site structure, architecture, and technologies to future proof TGR through all available mediums.
Develop appropriate tracking and measurement mechanisms to drive customer understanding and achieve revenue goals.
Drive quarterly, annual, and long term planning process for revenue objectives and resource requirements.
Manage workflow planning and processes.
Manage master departmental timeline.
Vendor and partner liaison.
Build management reporting tools to inform stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience and knowledge building and managing digital media businesses
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Media
10 years work experience in comparable industry
5 years experience in senior management
Experience managing a team towards corporate goals
Experience with brand development, CRM, and New Media channels.
Strong knowledge of marketing research, monetization strategies, consumer segmentation, and business analysis.
Location: Position will be based in Teton Village, Wyoming.
