All About Stout
Local small batch brewery from Veneta. Haven't drank in two weeks-> thought it was due time to treat myself.
I'll report back (waiting on a friend)
Edit- it was very clean but a little bland. Perhaps I'm more a espresso stout guy but this seemed like a dark colored brown aleLast edited by steepconcrete; 01-03-2017 at 10:33 PM.

I had a couple Deschutes Obsidian Stouts on nitro at the local pub the other night. It's like a completely different beer on nitro draft. Delicious.

What do you guys think of the Bourbon County stout. I remember when it was great till about 2014 and it went downhill after. Oh the memories.

Spent eight days in Haines. Just got back. Snowed the entire time so only a crappy 1/2 day of heli time ☹️. Local Haines Brewing makes a really good Stout (and other beers too). Became addicted to their Stout. One of the better ones I have ever had. Very drinkable. Great taste. Can only get it in Haines or for a few months in Juneau. I highly recommend it if you find yourself up there.

All About Stout
Been posting in IPA thread, but...
Fall is in the air....leaves are a changin....temps are droppin...can't stand most pumpkin bullshit, so....a local place just got some fresh:
And I can't wait! Is it stout time yet???Last edited by smartyiak; 10-21-2017 at 07:12 AM.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.
I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

While not a true stout, Bent Paddle Black Ale is at the top of my beer list right now.

For those of you in the know....I've got 4 of these coming in December.
At $25/bottle...I'm not too happy, but after having a few glasses these past few years, I find it a good investment. Also looking forward to Goose's BCBS this Friday. Cheers.
