    Sweet stoke!

And... that's right where I blew my ACL. I should have taken that little drop more seriously - the transition was way smaller than it looked on the way up the lift. I charged into it, overshooting into the flats bigtime.

Nice day to be in the San Juans. Good skiing with 6 inches of fresh. Snow was not binding well at all but was not slabby yetClick image for larger version.

Just got back after 6 days straight of skiing (5 at T-ride and 1 at Silverton). I wanted to do a touring day but I felt guilty leaving the kids, so I skied with them. The day we arrived, it was full 50F Spring skiing, but then we got a few inches in the middle, some wind, and skied mostly mid-winter when we left yesterday. I have a ton of POV footage that I need to edit, so that's forthcoming. Thanks to Cosmic Suncloud for the offers of touring, much appreciated but maybe next year.

    Run #1...headed straight for Palmyra...

Ran into Seth Morrison and crew at the summit...heh.

Wanted to ski something different so I went for this hidden line accessible from wrapping around the back of the peak...

Did a solo day to Silverton...found some wintery snow and some spring stuff but overall a really fun day...

    The clouds rolled in...

Last run of the day we headed up way beyond Billboard and had some fun pow turns...

Back at T-ride, I did as many laps on Dihedral that I could manage with wife, kids, etc in tow

On a flat light day, my 4 year old and I rode EVERY lift...yes...every one. haha.

It snowed a few inches, so we milked it back up on Dihedral...

On the last day, the family skied together...

22 months and she's ready to rock...

What a fucking special part of the country that area is. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread FOREVER and hope to get back sometime soon for sure.
Nice shots. I was wondering when you'd post 'em. You definitely hit the storm system just right. Yeah, this place hooked me years ago and it still is special.

I'll be down there that same weekend with some friends, staying up on Red Mountain Pass.

Great day today, cold and some wind. Skied an old favorite. Nicely protected boot deep pow in the coolie. Apron was variable, sun and wind effect with some frozen debris underneath.

You had to throw those pics up, eh?

Looks like you scored a pretty decent day. I've never skied so many tree runs on a single day before but that gave us the winter snow...so I'm not conplaining.
