Depends on the occasion. If my goal is to get pissed and make bad decisions then I don't spend more than $8 per six pack (canada) or $24 on a 26oz bottle of the devil's own royal reserve rye whiskey or red tasssel vodka. All other occasions I prefer something tasty and less affordable, say $12 for a 6pack of good beer or $27 or so on my favourite cuban rum (havana club). I forgot what the original question was, but I'm not fussy, especially if someone else is buying
