5 pm here in New Canaan and it is really starting to rip. Still have power but that will end fairly shortly. Good thing most of the leaves were down.

Someone I know just posted on Facebook about this storm being manufactured as a part of some massive conspiracy. Something about chemtrails, cloud seeding, and HAARP. I am completely dumbfounded by this.

Good bud of mine, RIGHT on the water in Milford called a couple of hours ago and said he and the wife had just finished putting the furniture on the countertops, as it was getting close already.
Irene pushed his house 6 inches off the foundation, and FEMA demanded that it had to be put up 3 feet to get reinsured. He just moved back in 6 weeks ago.

This is super stressful, I am 3000 miles away, my father is in Saskatchewan hunting and my mother is dealing with this shit alone. Hopefully things are fairing better for some other mags, good luck guys.

Just lost power. It was inevitable, and we're prepared for the most part, but it still sucks ass.
