    Bummer.

Hey I'm looking for any beta on Kaiser Peak and stuff out of Huntington lake. Looks like some fun terrain.

The snoparks don't allow overnight camping. Does anyone know of spots to selfcontain camp in the area?

The only SnoPark I have used that discourages overnight is Carson Pass, and if Meiss isn’t plowed, I have seen people parked there when I am coming back from Blue Lakes.
AFAIK, all the ones by Bear allow overnights and I have stayed at all three.

Hey powrdhound - I was specifically asking about the several snoparks around Huntington Lake on Highway 168.

We routinely stay at blue lakes, echo pass and taylor creek in the Tahoe area.

rumors are going around that Dodge Ridge is closing due to lack of snow - that is not true - there are some thin spots but I’m told they’ll make it through the next few weeks of dry weather just fine

At sugarbowl, some areas that look like dirt in the grooming tracks are actually bark/branch debris.

    Here's to hoping...

I was up Sunday and Monday and I don't know how they'll make it more than 7 - 10 days - TOPS - without some more snow. =/

    Snow dances everyone.

Branch debris after that wind storm and no new snow. I could see that becoming a grooming issue.

Bodywhomper, do you work at Sugarbowl? I read you were using your Mantras as a work ski. I’ve been using my sister pair as daily drivers this winter and finally put a core shot in them on Saturday at KW. All fixed up and ready to get back into some hardpack

Curious why the toboggan would be on the chair like that?
