    from Dodge Ridge

    ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

After much consideration we have made the difficult decision to close Friday March 10th to all operations due to the forecasted rainfall following the recent storms that brought the resort over 11 feet of snow last week. Our utmost concern is the safety of our staff and guests. With inches of precipitation expected within the next 36 hours Dodge Ridge will continue to protect and monitor to mitigate the resort and its facilities during the storm. We will continue to provide updates regularly as we plan to return to normal operations on Saturday March 11th at 9am.

For questions regarding cancellations for lift tickets and lessons already purchased for tomorrow email us at info@dodgeridge.com or call the resort directly at (209) 965-3474.

    BV update

    ❄️❄️❄️

    Operations Update for 3.10.23

We have made the difficult decision to close the resort tomorrow, 3.10.23, due to the large amount of rainfall we are expecting.

Travel will be extremely difficult, with 5+ inches of rain predicted.

We will be closed to maintain the mountain & deal with any flooding & chair maintenance due to the changing temps of the storm.

Your safety and the safety of our staff will always be our top priority.

For those with tickets purchased for tomorrow, please email seasonpass@bearvalley.com

For those with lessons purchased for tomorrow, please email lessons@bearvalley.com

BV skied really easy today, spackel last night filled the tracks and then pow on top made it pretty. Snowing hard this afternoon and temps are dropping

Yeah you right! Fresh refills of colder snow than I expected all day yesterday at Bear! I haven't been up to BV since Christmas and was amazed by the amount of snow, the Bear and Pooh chairs are enveloped in the snowpack. Good luck with the coming AR.

Records are meant to be broken! As of today March 13th we have officially broken our recorded all time season snowfall record, previously set in the 10/11 season at 643”! Now sitting at 654” on the season this has truly been a winter we’ll all remember for a long time to come! Looks like we’re going to need to rename the T-Bar!

Skiing any good at Dodge? NWS report suggests no freeze at night.

Headed up tomorrow. Two weeks ago it was about as firm as it gets in the West in the morning on the groomers and it was glue off piste and the groomers went pretty straight to slush. Hoping some corn cycling has gone on since then. The coverage is amazing and it was still a blast I just wasn't as prepped for the slush with my equipment as I will be this weekend.

Two days at Dodge this weekend. As Mikey said, the coverage is incredible and every single lift accessed area is still completely covered. Snow was great basically from the jump since it's just hovering around freezing in the shade at night and got better and better. Got fairly slushy around 2:30 and a lunch Zardoz was very helpful to prevent any sticking but it is great right now. They could probably stay open for another month.

I'm debating between Tahoe and DR this weekend. Both are looking unreal considering it's almost May.

FYI Dodge Ridge lets people with Ikon/Epic passes buy season passes at the "renewal" price, which is $499 until April 30 and then goes up $50. Includes the rest of this season as well.

Last minute decided to go to Dodge Ridge on Sunday and glad I did. Snow held up great until about 1:30 and then was pretty slushy. Still amazing coverage and nice to share the mountain with so few people. Park was skiing well. Did anyone else make it out? Anyone going to closing weekend?
