Bear was fresh and cold yesterday. Thanks to the "Hey Good People" people for keeping the Mt. open and the Road cleared.

Cold and windy today. Only Moke and Cub flying. We might be shut tomorrow so we can dig out.

Damn, be safe, Mike! I'm headed to Mendo or I'd be there for the after the dig out goodness.

And nice to see some new Central Cal mags in here.

    What a wonderful drive tonight.
CA-4 was a glorified single lane. The diamonds sparkling in the headlights.

Only the front side of BV will be open today. We will be working on digging out the back side and doing avalanche control in the lower mountain.

powdrhound has been skiing here since before I was born. I will be 50 in May. I work with a couple guys in their 70’s on pro patrol. Strong skiers and solid avalanche mentors.

Need some advice for Sunday. Driving up from Fresno in the early AM. Deciding between BV (never been), Kirkwood, or keeping it easy and going to CP. Is BV a good storm mountain? Will much be open?

    Better question:

Will 88 be open? Based on the forecast, I'm guessing the answer is no.
