    Monday was special...

Nice to meet you too, Mike. No...Mr. Fritz is my Spirit Animal. He's your coworker who stinks up the shack with wet dog smell and farts.

The 1992 Helly Hansen "northern lights" one piece is great when you want to keep the fresh snow off your back.

Bear is layered up perfectly for the upcoming Holiday Season. Great base coverage and that 6-9" Sunday night was the perfect topper.

But I'm sure it was way better over in Tahoe

It’s been quietly fantastic at BV the last few days. Looking like good snow for Xmas morning. I’ll be out early unwrapping the mountain with bombs for good boys and girls. Sunny skies the rest of the week means it will get pretty fkn busy up here. I have room at my place for Maggots to crash.

^^ Yeah it was. Meggers and I walked, skinned, postholed, sideslipped dirt, and skied around Kaiser Peak today. The lower two thirds of the south facing wasn't really skiable. Windblasted on exposed stuff, but protected areas up high were nice.Click image for larger version.

I think we figured out how to turn off the NE wind machine. It’s looking like we’ll get the snow machine going again this weekend.

I’m aiming for Tuesday and Wednesday at Bear. SnoPark hotel.

Then next Saturday at Dodge Ridge seeing if I can help with the sit-ski skiers.

Agreed, are all trans-Sierra passes available? Other CA passes/summits?

Thanks, Mike, might have to rethink having no Facebook in my life. Those are really nice graphics.

What's up with Polar Mike? Have a crew headed up tomorrow, but I'm not dropping $95 for no backside.

Polar is being worked on right now. Plan was for it to open tomorrow, but I’m not 100% sure. I will leave 2 discount vouchers for you with the dispatcher. ($65 on Saturday. $40 Sunday-Friday.) I’m off tomorrow, but I’ll be skiing part of the day. Hit me with a text.

Cool, Mike (I guess Griz is too much to ask just yet). I’m hoping to get up there late next week.

Grizz planned for next weekend if snow conditions allow. We have an encouraging, almost impressive, forecast.
